We are thrilled to announce the recipient of the annual Caleb Sabados Memorial Scholarship — Kael Rundquist.
Kael is a Frederick High School graduate who is now studying Diesel and Heavy Equipment at Pittsburg State University, and he couldn’t be a more fitting first recipient of this award. Like Caleb, Kael grew up in Frederick and shares that same drive and passion for building a future with his hands. Seeing that connection between the two of them made this decision especially meaningful for us.
The Caleb Sabados Memorial Scholarship was created to honor Caleb’s memory and invest in the next generation of Colorado tradespeople — people who are excited about the skilled trades and committed to carrying these professions forward. Kael embodies exactly that.
We are so proud to support Kael on his journey and can’t wait to see everything he builds ahead.
