We’re honored to share that Little Home Builder was recently featured in NOCO Style Magazine for our work designing and building backyard accessory dwelling units (ADUs) across Northern Colorado.
The article, Backyard Bungalows by Analisa Romano, dives into our mission, our founder Christy Silva’s family roots, and how we’re helping tackle Colorado’s housing challenges one ADU at a time.
From supporting aging parents to helping young adults stay in the state they love, ADUs offer flexible, long-term solutions for Colorado homeowners. As Christy shared in the feature, “We’ve come to the tough conclusion that our own children and other young professionals probably won’t be able to afford to live here unless we start to create additional housing options.”
The article also covers the new Colorado law, House Bill 24-1152, which now requires cities to allow ADUs in single-family zoning districts, opening the door for more families to explore multigenerational living, income properties, or just a little extra space for hobbies and guests.
We’re proud to be part of this movement and grateful to NOCO Style for highlighting the heart behind what we do.
