How is ADU value calculated?
Adding an ADU to your home can significantly increase its value. But how much? That’s where our calculator comes in handy. The value of a home is often closely tied to its size, measured in square feet. By adding an ADU, you’re essentially increasing your home’s square footage, which can lead to a substantial increase in its overall value.
Our Added Value ROI Calculator operates on a simple principle: it takes the average price per square foot of homes recently sold in your area and multiplies it by the size of the ADU you’re planning to build. This gives you a rough estimate of the added value that an ADU could bring to your home.
Remember, this is just an estimate, but it’s a great starting point for understanding the potential financial benefits of adding an ADU. So why not give it a try? See the value that an ADU could add to your home today!

Stick Built Quality Construction
Stick-built ADUs are constructed the same way your house was built with craftsmanship and based on today’s building code. It’s clear what you’re getting when you build in the traditional way. Lenders are comfortable with the building method and should have no issue providing financing. Appraisers will have no issue evaluating this structure when it’s time to sell or refinance. Once the plan is permitted, you can be confident it was designed to Colorado’s efficiency standards and to withstand Colorado weather.
